Pink October 2024 in Europe

During October, Europe turned a bit Pink. Most offices organized a Pink day during which they created awareness for breast cancer by wearing (and eating) pink.

Besides dressing in pink, some of the offices also participated in a pink run or organized a walk.

Our colleagues in France participated in a pink march to benefit breast cancer research. They also organized a special session to raise awareness about breast and testicular cancer. All 105 employees from their French offices participated in this informative session. A practical workshop was included, teaching participants how to perform self-examinations for early detection

Fracht Sweden arranged a Pink lunch walk with a quiz: They took steps together to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of supporting research moving forward by walking in the park and at the same time participating in a quiz on this subject.

The Lisbon team in Portugal participated in the 5km Run & Walk event where they raised funds for the Portuguese Association for the Support of Women with Breast Cancer. The Porto team was supposed to participate in the “CDUP-UP Dressed in Pink for Breast Cancer Prevention” event but due to bad weather, they were not able to. The funds that were collected from purchasing the t-shirts will be still donated to a good cause contributing to the fight against cancer.
