Fracht Group begins

Founded in Basel, Switzerland by Ruedi Reisdorf, Fracht started as a family-run freight forwarder built on integrity, respect and exceptional service. These values still guide us today.

Polytra is founded

Polytra was established in Antwerp, Belgium, quickly becoming a key player in European logistics. With a strong presence at one of Europe’s largest ports, it specialised in freight forwarding, customs and tailored transport solutions.

Growth across continents

Polytra expanded into Africa and Europe, building expertise in mining, energy and infrastructure. Fracht, meanwhile, invested in digital innovation to streamline operations and meet evolving industry demands.

Joining forces

Polytra became part of the Fracht Group, combining global reach with local expertise. The integration included Fracht Belgium Air (FBA), strengthening our ability to deliver innovative and sustainable logistics worldwide.
