Function
For our Integrated Solutions department, we are looking for a Junior Freight Forwarder.
In this role, you will work in a dedicated customer team and be responsible for the operational coordination of logistics flows for one main customer. You act as the central point of contact and ensure smooth execution from order to delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as first point of contact for the customer (mainly via mail)
- Managing and following up orders from A to Z
- Processing orders in the forwarding system
- Coordinating pre-carriage and main transport
- Preparing and checking shipping and transport documentation
- Monitoring deadlines and proactively managing deviations
- Troubleshooting operational issues together with partners and customer
- Reporting, documentation control and process follow-up
Profile
- Logistics degree or equivalent through experience
- First experience in forwarding or logistics is a plus
- Strong administrative accuracy and system-minded profile
- Customer-oriented and solution-driven
- Able to work independently within fixed procedures
- Stress-resistant and structured
- Fluent in Dutch and English
