Polytra Africa SSC is a dynamic and innovative logistics company dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to optimize business performance. We are seeking a Financial Controller who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of 2 to 3 African subsidiaries from the Mauritius Shared Services Center.
Function
This role will involve ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, adherence to financial policies and procedures, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives across the region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively across different cultures and jurisdictions.

Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 to 2 years in a senior financial management role overseeing multiple entities, preferably in Africa.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Knowledge of IFRS and local African GAAPs.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability to different cultural environments.
