Function
We are actively looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team on a fulltime basis. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability in different regions in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned territories.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and pricing, to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients and maintain a competitive edge.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, or have equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Proficient in French and English. Any other languages are plus.
