Function
We are looking for a Trading Manager who combines solid experience in commodity trading with the ambition to build something new. In this role, you will set up and lead your own trading desk in Antwerp, shaping its strategy and growth from the ground up. You will work with full autonomy, backed by the resources and support of a strong international group.
Your focus will be on developing profitable trading activities in your area of expertise, while building lasting relationships with key partners in the market.
Your responsabilities:
Take ownership of trading operations within your chosen market segment
Define and implement strategies that ensure sustainable growth and profitability
Build and manage relationships with suppliers, customers, brokers, and logistics partners
Lead and develop your own team as activities expand
Ensure operational excellence while aligning with risk, compliance, and corporate standards
Profile
Proven experience in commodity trading, ideally more than 5 years
Strong commercial mindset with a record of delivering results
Entrepreneurial and eager to build something new
Skilled in developing networks and long-term partnerships
