Function

You will be part of a dynamic team of four people and will handle the incoming transport orders. As a forwarder, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative follow-up of shipments, primarily export or cross-trade with foreign agents. You will manage your files from A to Z. Booking and invoicing of shipments are also part of your tasks, as well as preparing quotations and filling in tenders when required.

This includes, among other things:

  • You are the first point of contact for the customer

  • You handle forwarding files from A to Z

  • You check the information provided by the customer and request additional details if necessary

  • You are responsible for the correct processing of orders in the company’s forwarding system

  • You maintain contact with customers, agents, carriers, shipping lines, and authorities

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, or have equivalent experience
  • Experience with project cargo is a plus; this vacancy is also open to more experienced profiles
  • You are a problem solver, with a passion for working with customers and an eye for detail
  • You are always able to keep your focus and drive, even during short deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and tech-savvy
  • You are fluent, both written and spoken, in Dutch, French and English
